The Atlas Project
Signal developed the interior concept and bespoke furniture for DIF’s Innovation Hub, creating a flexible environment for collaboration, knowledge sharing and exhibition.
The ambition was to create an adaptable space that could support different activities and changing needs, while giving the Innovation Hub a distinct identity rooted in DIF and the world of sport.
Movement became a central theme in the design. A graphic track runs across the floor and continues onto the walls, bringing a playful reference to sport into the architecture and visually connecting the different areas of the space.
Custom-designed mobile tables allow the space to shift between workshops, meetings, presentations and exhibitions. A simple material palette of birch plywood, soft blue and tactile surfaces complements the graphic elements, creating a cohesive and informal environment designed to support interaction, experimentation and new ideas.
