The Atlas Project
Signal developed a workplace strategy for a large Danish organisation preparing to consolidate in total 1800 employees from two locations into one existing headquarters. The challenge was to accommodate approximately 600 additional employees while creating a well-functioning and cohesive workplace.
Through analysis of behaviour, needs and occupancy patterns, Signal identified opportunities for better use of the existing space. Collaboration patterns and synergies between departments informed recommendations for team locations, shared facilities and future ways of working.
The strategy was translated into a workplace design guide defining principles for work zones, meeting facilities, social spaces and visual identity – providing a framework for the future workplace.
